The Committee extends to you a sincere welcome to the Annual Citrus Engineering Conference. The purpose of the Conference is to emphasize the extreme importance of engineering and technology in the Citrus Industry. The first Citrus Engineering Conference was held as an experiment in Orlando, in 1955. The success of this first Conference proved to the originators that such a technical session each year was of benefit to the entire Citrus industry.

Your presenters have been selected as top flight specialists in their field and each of them has worked diligently to bring you a sound and interesting technical presentation.

Subjects have been selected to cover, as well as possible, a broad segment of the citrus industry. Your Citrus Engineering Conference Committee has received advance copies of all papers and they are confident of an excellent presentation in each case.  Receipt of these papers in advance assures earlier publication of the transactions of the conference.  All papers are available to interested parties as explained below.

This program is planned to present current citrus industry technical issues in an educational environment, benefiting the attendees through the knowledge and experience of the speakers.
